TPS, 13 years in the heart of Valparaiso

TPS, a close bond to kindergardens and nurseries of Valparaiso
The QUIK Educational Program, which we implemented along with JUNJI (Chile's National Daycare Association) and EducaUC Initial, seeks to strengthen educational leadership and development of processes in order to improve quality of education in kindergartens and nurseries. This initiative benefits 25 establishments, embracing all directors and approximately 625 teaching teams working at them.

TPS' Football Clinics
Across the hills and downtown Valparaiso, in 18 schools operated by the Municipality of Valparaiso, we developed TPS' Football Clinic Program, where children learn the sport, its technique, teamwork and to compete with loyalty.
This program has been implemented since 2007, during this period it has benefited more than 3,000 students of municipal schools.

TPS Valparaíso Half Marathon

For over eight years, TPS' Valparaiso Half Marathon is known for being a family party where we invite runners to tour around a port environment, enjoying its coast and heritage.
Aiming to integrate our community, we opened our doors each year for the most appealing stretch of the race as runners pass through our facilities, including containers and under towering cranes at our terminal.
Race distances are of 10K, 21K and a Kids Circuit for those who want to participate as a family.
For the 2013 Marathon, there are 4,000 vacancies and the inscriptions are done through the website  (www.maratontps.cl)

TPS Sports Beach
In the summer of 2013 we started the first TPS Sports Beach along with the National Sports Institute (IND) and Santiago Wanderers Sports Club, where more than 15,000 people were able to participate in free sports workshops during the months of January and February at the Caleta Portales Beach located in Valparaiso.
Children, youth and adults enjoyed fun football, volleyball, aerobics, dancing, entertaining and chess classes as well as other sports during their summertime.

TPS' Nautical Workshops

An initiative along with Mar de Chile Foundation, which includes more than 450 high school students of Valparaiso and Viña del Mar.
For second consecutive year, this 2013 TPS along with Mar de Chile Foundation hosted an outreach program to youth held at Puerto Deportivo Barón, considering sports activities like kayaking and sailing and aiming to promote knowledge of the sea and Chilean culture.

TPS, growing with the community of Valparaiso.
